AAAT really helped us out - on relatively short notice, they were able to set up a move from our location in North Carolina to Hawaii. We had a little bit of trouble coordinating with the shipper they contracted because the driver initially told us he would pick up our car on the weekend and would contact us when he got close. We didn't hear from him during normal business hours, so we tried calling the corporate number on Saturday and just happened to get someone who was trying to get caught up on some extra work. He called the driver for us; the driver contacted us, and we ended up coordinating pickup for Monday. Delivery to Matson went without any trouble, and AAAT contacted us with our Matson tracking number. The initial projected delivery date in Hawaii was August 6; the car arrived on July 29. We had arranged for a friend to pick up the vehicle since we are not yet in Hawaii, and there was no trouble with that. Overall, coordination with AAAT was fantastic. The only way they could possibly have improved the experience would be by tracking our vehicle themselves and notifying us when it arrived at the destination. But really, it's not that hard for me to go on Matson's website and check it myself. We also would have liked a little better communication from the contracted shipper for the pickup. However, all our interactions with AAAT were fantastic. Mike was always available when I called and was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction.
