Apparently AAAT goes by the adage "The customer is always wrong". I contacted them about a week before my car was supposed to be picked up and gave them a delivery date and told them the car could not arrive beforehand as I would not be in the area before that date.

Even though AAAT had promised they had the most truckers available and it would be a simple matter to meet my scheduled delivery date, they could only find 1 truck to pick up my vehicle and it would get there a week before the date I specified. Then, I had the unfortunate experience of having to call my sales contact "Curt" and try to get this sorted out. As his name implies he was curt and rude with me on the phone, putting me on hold in mid sentence without telling me so. He kept saying I did not understand the trucking business and that AAAT was the best choice and no other brokerage company would be able to meet the delivery date.

Well, I told him if he couldn't find a trucker, I would go to a different company. He again put me on hold mid-sentence, and I hung up. 20 minutes later, a nice lady from Angels Moving Autos had found me a trucker to pick up my car and deliver it very close to the original date and she gave me no attitude whatsoever.

Curt then had the gall to call me and chastise me for choosing another company while bragging about the great customer service AAAT provides (hahaha). I hung up on him.

I realize AAAT has a lot of good reviews on this site and I will give the company the benefit of the doubt and say it's just that Curt is a horrible salesman. If you get this guy hang up and call up another company!

We need to explain the whole story for this customer. He placed his order with us for transport from Maryland to Colorado on the 3rd of July. He made it available to transport as early as the 9th, but required that it not be delivered before the 18th. He gave us ample time to find a carrier and we had several that were interested however they would all be in Colorado well before the customer would arrive and we had to pass. When we did find a carrier that would be able to work with his deliver after date the customer had already contacted another Broker to work with. We gave him the option of keeping it with us as we had a carrier who would deliver the car the day after he arrived. He chose to go some where else. We refunded him his money and we wish him the best with his transport. Sorry to hear that you were not satisfied but frustration goes both ways when a customer is unwilling to listen to your perspective. AAAT
