The transport company vs. the trucking company

Overall I was satisfied with my contacts with Agape. The pickup and delivery were exactly on time. And Candie promptly notified my when the trucker's price went up $25 before the pickup. My only gripe was with the trucker/trucking company itself: They were supposed to give 6-12 hours notice of the drop off time, but I had to call them the day of the drop to find out that they were already in Massachusetts, just a few hours away! Nobody had called to tell me that, and if I hadn't called I wouldn't have known they were practically at my door. Since Agape had told me the drop could be as las as Friday, it was a good thing I called on Wednesday! I suppose it's Agape's role to choose responsible trucking companies, and though the car arrived on time and in good condition, the communication from the trucking company left something to be desired--so I take some points off from Agape. I think/hope that's fair.
