Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you. We apologize we were not able to assign a carrier within the 10 business days. We received your order on Jan 9th and began working to assign a carrier. Unfortunately, the destination city, Hill Air Force Base, UT, is less travel to by the carriers in the industry. This caused the pick to occur outside the guarantee of the Rock Bottom Shipping option. To answer your question about the increase expediting the shipment a little faster: If we offer a carrier a little more money to go out of his way, or off his normal route, often times they will do it for us. It is rare that this would happen but occasionally on routes that are not commonly traveled by carriers this can happen. Usually only by the customers request in order to get it contracted with a auto transport carrier quicker. We greatly appreciate the time and patients you gave us.
