When I first went to the web to get quotes for shipping my car I was swamped with all sorts of offers from various shipping brokers. If you haven't done this already, you will be swamped with offers too. This website was a big help in determining which shipping broker to use. I not only looked at the reviews, I also noted how long each shipper was in business. I was impressed with how long Aaall States had been in business compared to so many of the other shipping brokers. I also went to the BBB site for the area of each broker and searched for the name of the broker. Many weren't members of a BBB, which isn't so bad, but Aaall also had a good review on this site, had a good rating with their local BBB and they'd been a member of their BBB for quite some while. All of these things combined helped me make my selection. I did all this investigation work 'cause about 6 years ago I had a terrible experience with a car shipper and it was going to take a lot for me to trust a shipper again. I even checked google and facebook and found some interesting information on other shipping companies that made me steer clear of them. Dave at Aaall was very straight forward with me the whole time and even recommended we not try and ship my car during the holidays since so many truckers want to take the holidays off. (Besides, did I want my car on a truck with all the increased holiday traffic? No!) I thought that was good advise. I also expressed my concern that since gas/diesel prices had gone up so sharply after he gave me my initial quote, we discussed and I suggested we raise the price of the shipping, cause a few extra bucks to the trucker was worth it to me since it gave me a higher level of confidence that my car would be quickly picked up. It worked. My car was picked up exactly the day Dave told me it would be, and it was delivered in a very timely manner. Because of my previous and terrible experience with a shipper, (who's now out of business - what a surprise!) I did a lot of investigation work. If you look at Aaall closely, and you compare them to other brokers, you can stop looking and select Aaall.
