AAAll States personnel are friendly and easy to work with. I do think they dropped the ball by not letting me know what was happening between signing of the contract and finally getting the vehicle on a truck. Once the vehicle was scheduled for pick up and on the truck I did get calls with status.
I will give Aaall States credit for getting the non-running vintage vehicle moved before the end of the month, but it did take a lot longer than expected.
Once the vehicle was shipped, the driver and truck did not show up on the scheduled drop off day. Instead I had to call the actually transport company the following day (Atlantic Delivery, 503-914-7777). The owner of the company (AD) answered the phone and said he would track down the truck and driver and let me know where it was. That did not happen. I had to call AD again the following Monday. I was told the truck broke down and that he would call me with a new delivery time. That did not happen either. Instead I got an irate call from the AD driver demanding that I be at the delivery location at that moment the called (I had since gone on a business trip out of the area). AD had shown up at the delivery address without letting me know they were coming. I did leave the check for the AD driver with the shop owner at the delivery address, who I was able to call and have walk outside 100 feet to the truck and pay the driver. AD then unloaded the vehicle. The AD driver refused to walk into the business. Then I heard back from the delivery business owner that the AD driver was rude, inconsiderate and swore a lot. He dropped the vehicle from the trailer, run it into a curb and almost hit two other parked vehicles. I was not there to see it myself, but I trust the business owner and I don't see why she'd have reason to lie about something like that.
In summary: Aaall - OK to good, contract delivery company Atlantic, bad, bad, bad, run screaming, bad.
