United Auto Transport was not notified of any damages to the vehicle. The customer dealt directly with the driver. In our terms and conditions we clearly state that we are a broker and we contract out to drivers. When the damage occurred UAT was not made aware of the damage and we were not able to help with the claims process. After speaking with the customer, he indicated that he spoke with the driver's insurance company and they denied his claim. Our terms and conditions clearly state the steps that should be taken during a damage. Since we were not notified, we could not help with the claims process.
