Oversell and Underdeliver

I called them on a Friday and they told me over the phone I would hear from dispatch in the next 24 hours and they'd have me on a truck by Monday because I was on a very busy route. Of course, once they got their deposit, I didn't hear from them until the middle of the next week. The car wasn't picked up until the following Monday, 10 days after I called and a week later than promised. Not surprisingly, they picked it up on the very last day of the window they gave me. Which would have been fine if they hadn't promised me a prompt pick-up when I called and agreed to use them. Which is ultimately what bothered me - they promise the moon when they're trying to sign you up and then once they book you they don't seem to care and it's a struggle to even get them on the phone. Ultimately the car showed up and everything worked out, but it was about two weeks later than I wanted/needed it there. I certainly wouldn't use them again.

Eli Lehrer was not told he would hear from dispatch in the next 24 hours. He was told that once it was assigned, his transport company would contact him 6 to 24 hours before the pickup. He was not promised any pickup or delivery date. He was not contacted a week after the deposit was charged. The deposit was charged after he was contacted with his dispatch information which was after our service was completed. His pickup was not late – it was picked up 7/3, which was within his order dates. His transport company estimated delivery of 7/8 to 7/10. The transport company experienced a delay and it was 5 days late. None of this equals oversell and underdeliver on our part!
