While Brokers advertise availability at specific prices, they apparently cannot necessarily deliver at that price because it is the truck drivers that set the majority of the cost of transporting a vehicle. A-1 Logistics advertised a cross-country trip at an $1100 price, but could only deliver at $1350 (total truck driver and broker fees). The brokers only control their own fee (mine was $150). Other than that "small" item, A1 Logistic Services did well, providing service before our need date, and the truck driver both picked up and delivered reasonably on time.
