I contacted Mike at 1 Flat Rate way back in June. As you are probably aware, when you choose to receive information on shipping a car, you are bombarded by "NO JOKE" at least 50 Emails, all of who want your business. Picking a company to use was difficult as all of them seemed to have decent Customer Service Reps & reviews and the pricing was all around the same (between $800-$1000). The 1 thing that stood out to me was the "No Payment made until car was delivered." Ask yourself, why should you pay anything (even a small deposit), when I haven't received my car yet. Well anyways, after going back & forth for months with my Mom in Illinois, if I should ship the car or not, I stayed in contact with Mike and he was always at the same price & always very helpful answering any & all calls, concerns & questions I had. When we finally decided to use 1 Flat Rate, I called Mike on Thursday October 27th to get everything going. My Mom was contacted by an excellent trucking company out of Chicago, Illinois on October 28th to pick up the car. She was not able to do it on that Friday so the trucking company came & picked up the car at her residence on Saturday morning the 29th of October. I was kept in the loop by Emails from 1 Flat Rate & the car was delivered to my driveway on November 3rd by 9:00am by a really nice man with no damage, dirt or anything wrong to the car at all. Basically, this company was straight forward, no BS, no gimmicks, no price increase & very timely. If I ever have to ship a car again, I would 100% use this company again. Thanks 1 Flat Rate, for the peace of mind and the excellent service.
