First time user of a tranportation broker

We had never purchased a vehicle from another state and certainly had never used a brokerage or a transport company. We were in uncertain waters. We used an internet quote service and were wary of being contacted by phone afterward, but were reassured by the representative of 1Shot Express Transport, Joel. The price seemed reasonable, $250 immediate via email for the brokerage and $600 COD to the transport service. The transport time seemed too good to be true (pick up by the weekend and delivery in two to three days) and he gave us details of the transport.

It was later after we contracted with this brokerage company, we located and read on-line reviews and got scared that we might have been taken for ride ourselves.

However, our contact(brokerage agent) kept us informed every step of the way both by phone and e-mail, the first trucking company secured by the broker did have a problem before pick up and we were notified immediately(something that may have occurred had we contracted directly with an independant trucking company). This is the reason the car was picked up late. A second trucking company was immediately secured by the brokerage agent(we were given the name of the trucking companies both times) and the car was picked up the next day. The driver of Maximum Transport LLC contacted us and kept us apprised of both the pick up and arrival. We had our car in just a few days later and in good shape and delivered to our door Thanksgiving eve.

Overall we had a good experience with both the brokerage agent of 1 Shot Express Transport and the selected trucking company of Maximum Transport LLC by allaying our fears, keeping us informed and getting the car here in a reasonable amount of time.
SHOULD THE OPPORTUNITY ARRISE WE WOULD USE AGAIN.

Also keep in mind when a person writes a bad review, they want to hurt you, they are mad and so they mention what's true and what's not.
